LAURIE HILL PHELPS has painted in Taos, New Mexico for over twenty years capturing the local landscape and culture with vibrant color and playful imagery.  Her richly textured oils invite the viewer in for a closer look where they will see multi- layers of paint exquisitely applied to be enjoyed both close up and at a distance.  Her paintings speak to a joy of living found deeply woven into the land and culture of New Mexico, "The Land of Enchantment."  She is currently represented by Bryan's Gallery in town and can be found most days painting in her warmly lit log cabin studio in Taos Canyon.  You are always welcome to stop by and bask in the warmth of Laurie's life and work.  505-758-1813
